Michaela was wonderful to work with. She was flexible with our schedule due to us going out of town and was prompt with her communication. The team that did the project were extremely talented and got the work done very quickly. Our yard was an absolute mess before hand and now it looks wonderful.

We hired Landscapes Unlimited to rip and replace a crumbling two-tier retaining wall and our front steps in the fall of 2023, we were so completely satisfied, we asked them to help with a project in the back yard - to replace a rotting deck with a paver patio and re build another crumbling retaining wall. Mike did a great job of listening to our requirements and ideas and coming up with a plan. He was the only contractor that didn't require a down-payment to do the design! He was so easy to work with through the design process for both projects. The boulder crew(s) and the paver/landscaping crews were also great to work with. They were very respectful of our property and the lot line with our neighbor, and they cleaned-up and swept the street/gutters each night before they left. If I had a concern, or wanted a slight change, they would accommodate. The Project Manager was also very helpful and would stop over regularly to assess the project and ensure things were going to plan, and make adjustments as needed. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately for my bank account) we don't have any other boulder/patio projects in the future, but if we did, I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to Landscapes Unlimited to do the job!

LU worked on our project for our new home. The land is on a slope requiring a large and complex retaining wall, the city had various tree requirements and the watershed required an infiltration basin. Dave, our designer, was an incredible asset. He was by far the most helpful subcontractor on the build of our home. He worked with us to understand the implications of the tree ordinance and was an active and constant advocate on our behalf. Dave has a deep knowledge of the flora while also understanding how we wanted to live in the space. I highly recommend Dave Sonka and LU.

I engaged Landscapes Unlimited for a significant project involving the installation of a retaining wall, costing around $50,000. Initially, I was impressed with their professionalism and the scope of work they presented. However, my experience with their post-installation warranty service has been disappointing and concerning. In July 2022, I noticed an issue with the retaining wall - it began to separate at the corners. I immediately reached out to Landscapes Unlimited and followed their process for submitting a warranty claim, as instructed by their team. Despite multiple follow-ups via email and phone my issue remains unaddressed. I appreciate the complexities that landscaping projects can encounter, especially those that are as extensive as mine. However, the lack of response and action on a significant warranty concern is troubling. It has been over a year since my first attempt to have this issue resolved. I've been patient and cooperative, understanding the challenges posed by weather and scheduling. Yet, the continued delay and lack of clear communication have left me with an unresolved issue and growing frustration. My aim in posting this review is not to disparage Landscapes Unlimited but to highlight an area where improvement is needed. Effective and timely warranty service is crucial, especially for high-value projects. I hope this feedback prompts a more proactive approach to customer service post-project completion, especially concerning warranty issues. To potential customers, my advice would be to ensure clear and explicit terms regarding post-installation service and warranty follow-up before committing to a project of this scale. **Update:** The gaps in the wall have only worsened, as shown in the photos I've attached. Despite their initial professionalism, Landscapes Unlimited has not taken responsibility for what is clearly a warranty issue. Their communication has been inconsistent, and they have shifted blame to external factors like sidewalk installation, which contradicts dated evidence showing the sidewalk was in place before their work began. To potential customers, I would advise extreme caution. Make sure you have clear terms regarding warranty follow-up, and don’t assume that issues will be addressed post-installation.

We would highly recommend Landscapes Unlimited! We built a new home so needed help with all aspects of creating an outdoor space that we would love. We worked with Patrick for our design and can't say enough good things about him. He helped design the landscaping for our yard, a paver patio and sidewalk, and a complex retaining wall. Patrick had so many good ideas and was also very accommodating with incorporating planting ideas that we had. The crews that did the retaining wall, pavers and landscape plantings and irrigation were excellent. They had great attention to detail and were professional, respectful and personable. The sod that was installed at the end of the project was extremely healthy and professionally installed. The project was finished in the fall and we look froward to seeing everything take shape for the first time this spring.
